Developing a new comic strip…Let me know your thoughts.
So, after ignoring certain goals of mine for a few years, I have returned to working on a comic strip. About six years ago, I developed a comic strip based around my own life. But, the storyline focused more on the antics of my dog, Dutch. I was able to complete about 40 strips on this concept and then I got sidetracked with work and such. So, it ended up moving to the back burner. A month or so ago, I looked at the comic strip again and decided it was time to jump back on the comic strip horse, but I’ve decided to try a new storyline.
So, after countless days of developing ideas and searching through old notes, I came across an idea I had back in my animation days. I found a storyline that really spoke to me again. So, I’m running with it. As the strips appear here, on my Website, the storyline should become clear to the rest of the world. For now, here is the first strip.
At this point in what I still consider to be “early development”, I am very interested in receiving feedback from all of you (good or bad, I want to hear it all), so please let me know your thoughts. Are they funny? Are they fun to look at? Is Coca-Cola really better than Pepsi? I hope you all enjoy my new comic strip; Equator.
that’s pretty funny!
Thanks, Lenny! I hope all is well with you and your family. 🙂 Take care
Very funny! I like the characters already.
Overall, I liked it. The joke was funny and did a very nice job of showcasing the humorous aspects of the individual crabs.
I’d like to know their names, though… I know you’re going to give them more storyline as the strip progresses, but do we call them Crab Dumb and Crab Two?
🙂 stay tuned, Adam. Names will come as the strip moves forward. Thanks for checking in!
