nothing more can be said…

October 6, 2011

I turned my last Mac into a doorstop about 7 years ago. And though I may never own another Mac, I have no doubt that Steve Jobs is the reason technology is what  it is today. Just knowing that he started Apple out of a garage reminds me that greatness can come from anywhere. Though he may never have imagined it would ever become all of this, he must have been proud to know that everything he accomplished had somehow made the world a better place.

I discovered digital art on an Apple IIc, grew into my career using a Mac G3 and studied the amazing work of Pixar Studios in animation school. And I feel I owe a lot to the man who was the foundation for all of it. Thank you Steve Jobs for everything you did in your short life. As we all text and tweet and read and listen, let us not forget the man who introduced us to the world we all comfortably live in today. RIP Steve Jobs iSad
